Melanie and her family made the long journey from Kohala for her six pose senior portait session.
We were lucky that it was such a nice and sunny day. However the heat made it a tough shoot so we needed to take a break.
Melanie returned from lunch at Panda Express. One our favs. We found out from her that if you enter a code on your receipt on their website you get a free entree! I’m trying that tonight.

Araja – Keaau High
Friday, July 17th, 2009Araja arrived at her session jet lagged and a little sick; she spent several weeks criss-crossing North America, seeing the states, going up north to Canada and back.
She is a great group organizer at school and helped us tremendously with the pizza party earlier this year at her school. Thanks Araja for everything and good luck with everything!

Another epic shoot over the Fourth of July weekend! Antasia brought her crew the Fab 5 with her for support and a few group shots:
We were fortunate enough to have her mom on hand, as she basically was an on set MUA (make up artist)! She made sure everything was perfect during every setup and was tremendous help with posing. Alas, we couldn’t have her on hand for the beach shots.
The beach was quite an adventure. It was SO HOT and muggy. To get to one location at the beach, we all had to climb over a rock wall. As we turned, the corner, there were three beach bums passed out! It was all good though because the photos looked great.
Getting back to the studio, we were so happy to be greeted by A/C. The hardest part of the day was choosing the poses for Antasia’s package:

Thursday, July 9th, 2009Krissy came prepared for her 12 pose package: evening gown, tuxedo (for her boyfriend), high-performance import car, and various members of her family were on hand to contribute for an epic shoot!
