Koa had only two weeks to spend back home after flying in last week from Kuwait.
At the planning meeting, Rochelle mentioned that the ceremony would be right across of Hale Pohaku on Mauna Kea. Piece of cake we thought since we’re familiar with the mountain.
The day of the ceremony we were completely lost! No balloons or obvious signs that a wedding was happening.
After finally driving up the summit access road, I looked over the side and noticed a huge white tent in the middle of nowhere. Found it!
It was across of HP, a little dirt trail. Had to use 4-Wheel drive, boy was it dusty! But what a beautiful view:

They’re a really great looking couple, so we couldn’t wait to take some portraits:

After the formals, we headed back down to an old section of Saddle Road for what I thought would be dramatic portraits:

Return home soon Koa!
